河南省儿童医院郑州儿童医院始建于1960年，是三级甲等儿童医院、国家儿童区域医疗中心、河南省儿童医学中心、北京儿童医院郑州医院、郑州大学附属儿童医院，国家建立健全现代医院管理制度试点医院。

Henan Children's Hospital Zhengzhou Children’s Hospital, established in 1960, is a 3A pediatric hospital. It has been approved as the National Children's Regional Medical Center, Henan Children's Medical Center, Zhengzhou Hospital, Beijing Children’s Hospital, and Children's Hospital Affiliated of Zhengzhou University, and has been included by the state as a pilot hospital for the establishment and completion of modern hospital management system.

医院拥有郑东院区（主院区）、东三街院区、南院区和西院区，“一院四区”各有重点、协同发展。开放床位2000张，现有职工3275人，其中博士、硕士共870人，高级职称440人，博士、硕士研究生导师共63人。2023年门急诊量265.95万人次，出院病人11.33万人次，手术量3.06万台次，拥有国家、省市政府特殊津贴专家、省市学术技术带头人、省特聘研究员等48人。柔性引进国内外知名学科团队18个。

The hospital has Zhengdong Hospital Area (main hospital area), East Third Street Hospital Area, South Hospital Area and West Hospital Area. "One Hospital and Four Areas" have their own priorities and coordinated development. There are 2000 open beds and 3275 employees, including , 870doctors and masters, 440 senior professional titles and 63 doctor and master's supervisors. In 2023, there were 2,659,500 outpatient and emergency patients, 113,300 discharged patients and 30,600 surgeries. It introduced 48 experts with special allowances from the national, provincial and municipal governments, provincial and municipal academic and technical leaders, and provincial special researchers. It also flexibly brought in 18 well-known domestic and abroad discipline teams.

医院拥有国家临床重点专科建设项目2个（儿科新生儿、儿科重症），省市医学重点（培育）学科35个。拥有省级及以上医教研平台50余个，其中获批国家呼吸系统疾病临床医学研究中心河南研究中心、国家卫健委儿童脑死亡判定质控合格医院、全国罕见病诊疗协作网成员单位、河南省儿科医疗质控中心等，是国家住院医师规范化培训基地、国家新生儿围产期医学专科医师规范化培训基地、中国医师协会基本消化内镜医师培训基地等。拥有国家人社部博士后科研工作站、河南省儿童遗传代谢性疾病重点实验室、河南省儿科疾病临床医学研究中心等科技创新平台26个。

It has 2 national key clinical specialties construction projects of Neonatal and Critical Care Medicine, 35 provincial and municipal key (cultivation) disciplines, over 50 provincial and higher level platforms, among them are National Clinical Research Center for Respiratory Diseases (Henan), Qualified Hospital for Quality Control of Children's Brain Death by the National Health Commission, Member units of the National Rare Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Network,Henan Pediatric Medical Quality Control Center, Henan Children's Emergency Center. It also undertakes series teaching platforms as well, such as National Resident Physician Standardized Training Base, National Standardized Training Base for Neonatal and Perinatal Specialists, and Chinese Medical Doctor Association Basic Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Physician Training Base. Moreover, it has 26 technology innovation platforms including Postdoctoral Programme of National Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Henan Provincial Key Laboratory of Genetic&Metabolic Diseases, and Henan Clinical Medical Research Center for Pediatric Diseases.

近五年，医院获批科研立项703项（其中国自然基金委及科技部立项21项），科研获奖72项（其中省部级6项），国家授权专利1913项。发表论文5079篇，其中SCI论文489篇、中华及中文核心期刊论文837篇、影响因子＞5分177篇，在世界医学顶级期刊《NEJM》《JAMA》《BMJ》发表论文影响因子最高158.5。

In the past five years, the hospital has been approved 703 scientific research projects (including 21 projects approved by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology), 72 scientific research awards (including 6 provincial and ministerial awards), and 1,913 state-authorized patents. 5,079 papers were published, including 489 SCI papers, 837 Chinese and Chinese core journal papers, and 177 papers with impact factors>5 points. The highest impact factor of papers published in the world's top medical journals NEJM, JAMA and BMJ was 158.5 points.
